Haas Brände and Gin at the Jägerbar
In the picturesque town of Rielasingen-Worblingen, not far from Marbach Castle, lies the traditional Haas distillery. For four generations, this family-owned business has been known for the art of distilling and crafting exquisite spirits. Over the years, Haas distillery has earned an excellent reputation for producing high-quality fruit brandies and liqueurs. What sets Haas apart is the use of selected regional raw materials, including those from the grandmother’s own garden. Master distiller Andreas Haas works closely with local farmers to ensure that only the best fruits and ingredients are used in the distillation process. This regional connection is reflected in the unique flavors and unparalleled quality of their products. Following the first DLG Gold Award in 2019, the distillery has continued to receive numerous accolades, of which the whole family is especially proud. At Marbach Castle, we offer a wide selection of the finest spirits from Haas distillery and, since this summer, even a gin from Haas at our Jägerbar, which we expanded in spring 2023 to include around 26 different gins. Each gin from our parent company Barry Callebaut provides a journey around the world, and the Haas gin connects our Lake Constance region, where Marbach Castle has stood for centuries, with the entire world.

In the idyllic Lake Constance region around Langenargen, where lush orchards and rich natural landscapes abound, a special delicacy is crafted: Genüssle Syrup from Lake Constance. This syrup is not only a taste sensation but also a tribute to the natural beauty and bounty of the region. The production of Genüssle Syrup begins with selecting the finest fruits and herbs from the surrounding gardens and fields. Local farmers contribute their dedication and expertise to ensure that only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients are used. At Marbach Castle, we regularly feature these delicious syrups at our apéritifs. As a “Spritz Bar,” our service creates refreshing beverage concoctions that provide a perfect start or finish to a meeting. Whether it’s rose, lavender, nettle, or poppy blossom, each syrup can be enjoyed with or without alcohol. Each bottle of syrup also adds a visually appealing touch to our bars.
