How do I get to Marbach Castle by public transport?
Marbach Castle is well connected to the local public transportation system. There is a dedicated bus stop directly at the hotel. From there, buses run regularly to the train stations in Radolfzell and Stein am Rhein.
Is there a shuttle or taxi service for arrival and departure?
We are happy to organize a paid transfer with external providers to make your journey as comfortable as possible. Please contact our reception approximately 14 days in advance.
Where can I park my car at the Schloss Marbach conference hotel?
There are ample free outdoor parking spaces available on the castle grounds. You can park your car directly in front of the conference hotel.
Can electric cars be charged on the premises?
There are two paid charging stations for electric vehicles available on the property. You will receive a chip to activate the charging station at reception upon arrival.
Which rooms are available for conferences and meetings?
Marbach Castle offers a variety of spaces for conferences, including conference, seminar, training, and meeting rooms. A detailed overview can be found on our website under “Meet”.
What technical equipment is available for conferences?
Our conference center at Marbach Castle is equipped with modern technology, including projectors, communication systems, high-speed Wi-Fi, and sound systems. Additional equipment can be provided upon request. Virtual meetings are also easily possible.
How can conferences be organized?
We are happy to assist you in selecting the perfect room for your event while taking your individual needs into account. Please note that we do not offer standard conference packages.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
The restaurant at Marbach Castle exudes a cozy charm and is located in the original vaulted cellar in the heart of the castle.
Can I order à la carte in the restaurant?
In our restaurant, we exclusively serve pre-arranged menus. You may choose from a variety of special menus or buffets.
What kind of drinks are available at the hotel?
At Marbach Castle, you’ll find a wide selection of beverages – from coffee bars during your conference to chilled, non-alcoholic drinks. In the evening, we offer a fine selection of regional and international wines and spirits. Please note that our bars are self-service in the evening.
Do you accommodate special dietary needs?
The kitchen team at Marbach Castle focuses on fresh, regional, and seasonal cuisine. Of course, we also accommodate allergies and specific dietary preferences – please let us know in advance.
What catering services does the hotel offer?
Our conference hotel offers a range of catering options tailored to your needs. Enjoy a rich breakfast, a stylishly arranged quick lunch, or a special sandwich buffet. In the evening, various menus await you or a summer BBQ at our boathouse with direct access to the lake.
How much does a room cost?
Room rates vary depending on location, furnishings, and season. Generally, a single room costs between 139 and 239 euros per night, including breakfast.
Are there accessible rooms for guests in wheelchairs?
Accessible rooms are available at our hotel. If you have specific requirements regarding room equipment, please let us know.
How many rooms are there at Marbach Castle?
Marbach Castle has a total of 75 rooms: 41 rooms in the castle and towers, most of which offer direct views of picturesque Lake Constance, and 34 single rooms in the rustic Golf Lodges with views of the forest.
Are there attractions around Lake Constance nearby?

Are there bike and hiking trails near the hotel?
Marbach Castle is nestled among forests and fields on the Höri peninsula. The picturesque region offers numerous biking and hiking trails to explore.
Are dogs allowed?
Your four-legged companions are very welcome on a leash in the public areas and restaurant. For overnight stays with a dog, our rooms in the Golf Lodges are available. Please note that an additional cleaning fee will apply.
Can you swim in the lake?
Marbach Castle has private access to the lake. In summer, you can enjoy Lake Constance in or on the water. A towel service is available for your comfort.
