Location and region

Marbach Castle is located in a rural area near the border between Germany and Switzerland, on the western side of Lake Constance. Situated on a south-facing slope directly on the lake, with a view of the Thurgau Lake Ridge and a far-reaching view of the Alps, the estate comprises various buildings.

  • the castle with the three towers built in 1989,

  • the Villa Bella Vista, renovated in 2005, with the adjacent forum,

  • a boathouse,

  • three guest houses, the Golf Lodges.

  • In 1998, a 4-hole golf course, including a driving range and putting green, was established in the northern area.
